What Information Do We Collect?

The types of personal information that we collect from you will depend on the circumstances of collection. For example, when you join our Centre as a member, client or patient we may collect details such as your name, contact details, next of kin, date of birth, gender, licence details, medical history, banking details and other such information which will assist us in delivering our products and services to you. When you visit our website we may collect your IP address, date, and time of visit. As we are required by law to obtain your consent to the collection of “sensitive information”, we will assume that you have consented to the collection of all information which is provided to us for use in accordance with this Statement.

How We Collect Information

We may collect personal information about you when you deal with us over the telephone, send us correspondence (whether by letter, fax or email), visit our websites or when you have contact with us in person. As well as collecting information directly from you, there may be occasions when we collect information about you from a third party. For example from practitioners who offer services through the Chaotic Energy system or from market research companies contracted by us to obtain information so that we may improve and market our products and services.

How We Use Your Personal Information

In general we collect personal information for the following purposes:

(b) To manage and administer memberships;
(c) To facilitate access to our centre by members, clients, patients and casual patrons;
(d) To conduct marketing activities and market research;
(e) To train and manage our practitioners;
(f) To communicate with members and visitors to our website;
(g) To respond to online inquiries;
(h) To communicate information and special offers provided by us or selected third parties.
(i) To operate the Chaotic Energy Centre business.

Some of the personal information we collect is essential for us to be able to accurately identify who is using our services. Other types of personal information we collect help us to profile who is using our services and what their interests are.

We may disclose your personal information to third parties, for example, to our contractors to whom we contract out certain services, data processing companies and direct debit service providers. We engage third party contractors to perform services for us which involves the contractor handling personal information we hold. For example, we may engage third party contractors to:

  1. Provide electronic funds transfer services, credit card account processing and related services.
  2. Conduct market research.
  3. Provide information technology services such as managing our databases, online services, communication networks, software and system development and maintenance.
  4. Assist with obtaining payment from creditors.
  5. Deliver Neurotrician and Neurotricionist practitioner services.

In these situations, we prohibit the third party contractor from using personal information about you except for the specific purpose for which we supply it. 

Other than the above, we will not disclose your personal information without your consent unless disclosure is either necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, authorised or required by law, reasonably necessary to enforce the law or necessary to investigate a suspected unlawful activity.

What to do if you don’t want our mail-outs?

In each e-mail or each piece of marketing material that you receive from us, we will endeavour to attach simple instructions on how you can immediately unsubscribe from our mailing list. Access & Correction of Information About You

We will, on request, provide you with access to the information we hold about you, unless there is an exception which applies under the National Privacy Principles, including for the purpose of correcting or updating that information.

We may recover from you our reasonable costs of supplying you with access to this information. If we do propose to charge you, we will notify you of this charge when we receive your request.

Your request to provide access to this information will be dealt with in a reasonable time frame.

If you fail to give us all the information we may require from you or the information you give us is inaccurate or incomplete then the products, services and information we may provide to you may be affected.
